“Kasane” is the new brand created by the well established knife maker Sumikama Co Ltd. These knives are equipped with a trade secret called “Zero Edge” technology. “Kasane” blades are processed and sharpened in a special way to help prevent them from going blunt with daily wear. Their research shows the “Zero Edge” technology has successfully reduced the decline of sharpness and it keeps its sharpness at around 80% (internal product comparison).

How to Care
To maintain the sharpness of your knife, we recommend that it is hand-washed.
Do not leave unwashed for long after cutting citrus such as lemon or orange.
Super light-weight (nearly half the weight of average knives) means you can comfortably use it for longer periods of time.
