Description
Kihachi Topiary Shears are one of the most talked about in our garden product range. It is extremely popular amongst topiary professionals around the world and we are the only few distributors in the world to have these shears custom made by Yoshioka Hamono. Their ultra sharp blades feature a unique indentation design which is often described as “self-cleaning”. The surface of bottom blade is curved inwardly and the hollow ground blade serves to collect sap, gum and debris. This allows the blades to stay clean resulting in a more efficient cut. This, combining with the top quality “Yasugi Hagane” Japanese steel, is one of the reasons these shears stay sharper longer than others. Curved blades are even harder to make and Yoshioka’s are the best of the world. Our users tell us that they snip much less using these shears and the curved shears make the job so much easier. These topiary artists do need to chop hundreds of times to shape those buxus balls!
As these 240mm curved Kihachi topiary shears are custom made, we only have a limited number available. As they are extremely popular, they often get reserved before reaching us. If you find these shears are out of stock online, do contact us and we can reserve yours today.
Kihachi Garden Shears are made of high quality “blue grade” Yasugi Hagane Japanese steel developed by Hitachi Steel. The shears come from one of the most renowned cities for hand forged steel products in the world – Miki in western Japan. The artisan manufacturer “Yoshioka Edged-Tool Works (Yoshioka Hamono)” has been testing and polishing their skills and knowledge since 1946.
