Description
This gorgeous matcha tea bowl is an authentic Japanese craft that is used for tea ceremonies. The design depicts night cherry blossom viewing. When the tea is served, the contrast between the green of matcha and the dark charcoal bowl is exquisite. When you finish drinking it, some fallen cherry petals will reveal on the inside. In Japan, cherry blossoms come out in April, which can be still chilly so the bowl is thicker for winter use.
Features
One of the most loved floral motifs cherry blossom “Sakura” is featured. This type of ceramics is called Rakuyaki (楽焼 Raku Ware) and it is prestigious and highly regarded in ceramics. Comes in a signed wooden box, wrapped in an orange protective cloth.

Care Instructions
– It is recommended that you soak the bowl in water or warm water before using it for the first time. This is to prevent the bowl from staining, cracking and damages.
– This bowl is made from natural materials which makes it breathable and water absorbent. To prevent mold, please dry throughly after use before putting it away.
– Please avoid exposing the bowl to highly acidic materials such as lemon and vinegar for long periods of time as this may cause discolouring.
