Meaning behind the flower logo on the box

The Bud Trimming Scissors “Pointy Small” come in a beautiful charcoal gift box, making them a perfect gift.  The box features the scissor’s logo and brand name, “Ken-Katabami,” “Ken” means sword and “Katabami” translates as flower wood sorrel.  The wood sorrel is a popular Japanese family crest motif for its resilient life force that does not wither.  Even when trampled as a weed, emphasising the durability and longevity of these scissors.

Care Instructions
Do not cut hard objects such as wire and dried flowers with these scissors. These scissors are specifically designed to cut raw branches and stems and the blades are finely adjusted for this purpose.

    I had the chance to buy 3 items from them at the Melbourne flower and garden show and went back to their online shop to buy more items I had on mind. 1 item was out of stock and they reached back when they had stock as I had expressed interest. These are created by people dedicating their life for this craft and I’m lucky to find these that can be handed down generations instead of buying a one time cheap tool made in a factory line production.
